the last Friday of the month across 2 floors of Ego, 14 Picardy

Room
1 features the full 7 piece Tokyoblu band playing live
and original
house music and Tokyoblu remixes written especially for the club
with
support from the Tokyoblu DJ’s John & Iain and live percussion
from the
awesome Pepe Santamaria.
Room
2 (Tokyo Underground) features a headline set by the 3
deck magician
Little Grooves alongside NI’s finest Niall McKervey and a
rotation of some
of Edinburgh’s finest DJ’s including Parus Major &
Edinburgh’s answer to 2
Many DJ’s, FutureB. Sexy funky party house all the way.
Description:
2 rooms of the funky stuff, expect Tokyoblu’s trademark fusion
of US vocal, Disco, funky, Latin, Chicago, Africanism and Electro
house;
anything goes as long as it’s got the funk.
Tokyoblu is one of, if the not the biggest, club productions in
Scotland and
has had universal press from the local and national press with the
Tokyoblu
band being compared to Groove Armada, Basement Jaxx & the Greenskeepers.
